Monkeypox, also known as mpox, and gonorrhoea vaccinations are available.
Starting September 2025, Umbrella, in partnership with the Birmingham and Solihull's vaccination team, will offer routine vaccinations for mpox and gonorrhoea at Birmingham Attwood Green Health Centre. This is part of a nationwide programme aimed at protecting those most at risk and helping to reduce the spread of infection.
You may be eligible if you fall into one of the following groups:
- Gay, bisexual, and other men who have sex with men (GBMSM) who have had a bacterial STI (e.g. chlamydia, gonorrhoea, or syphilis) in the past 12 months
- Gay, bisexual, and other men who have sex with men (GBMSM) who report having 5 or more sexual partners in the last 3 months
- Sex workers who engage in condomless sex
- Other individuals at high risk, including those with multiple recent sexual partners or a history of bacterial STIs in the past 12 months
Our clinical team will assess your eligibility based on your sexual health history and risk factors.
