The People’s Health Panel (PHP) is NHS Birmingham and Solihull ICB's flagship engagement initiative.
The PHP is made up of over 3,000 members who have voluntarily signed up, or have been independently recruited, with the aim of getting involved in shaping health services across Birmingham and Solihull.
As a member of the PHP, the level of involvement is entirely determined by the member; from completing surveys to attending programme boards.
The membership of the PHP has been analysed by the Equality and Diversity Team; it is broadly representative of the local populations we serve. This means that the ICB can engage with and involve people from all local communities, ensuring a cross-section of representative opinions and views.
