Our aim is to provide equitable access to high quality diagnostics in a timely manner.
Diagnostics play a key role within our system recovery and is at the centre of disease and patient pathways.
We have made good progress in reducing the waiting times for diagnostics tests post covid, and this continues to be a system priority and focus for our Diagnostics and Cancer Delivery and Improvement Boards.

NHS England has approved three community diagnostics centres (CDCs) across Birmingham and Solihull, offering appointments seven days a week, from 8am-8pm, with free parking.
Our CDCs offer a range of diagnostics services such as ultrasound, MRI, CT, X-Ray, cardiology tests, respiratory tests and phlebotomy.
